<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Bexar County, Texas - Master Development Plans (MDPs): Master Development Plans are overviews of an applicants proposed multi-unit/phase development. They are used to determine the general location and layout of proposed lots, infrastructure, individual plat units, and other features in the development. These plans are used to coordinate planning activities and thoroughfare locations and alignments. The Dataset contains polygons representing areas within Bexar County for which a Master Development Plan has been submitted. The process by which Master Development Plans are processed is controlled by the City of San Antonio Development Services and Planning Department. Bexar County Infrastructure Services Department, Public Works Section, is responsible for reviewing MDP's as a certifying agency for the City of San Antonio. This shapefile was created from data that was produced by the City of San Antonio, and from MDP submittals to Bexar County Infrastructure Services and does not include MDP's located within the corporate limits of any of the incorporate cities within Bexar County but does include MDP's created in the unincorporated areas of Bexar County and areas that are designated as extraterritorial jurisdiction of any of the incorporated cities in the county. The boundaries of the MDP areas are established by engineering/survey companies and provided to Bexar County Public Works as part of the required submittal package.
